Tomorrow X Together (TXT) will return on April 13 with their eighth mini album, 7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, released through BigHit Music. The project arrives nearly nine months after their 2025 studio album, The Star Chapter: Together.
The album announcement, shared via the global superfan platform Weverse, and accompanied by a cinematic concept trailer and new photos across the group’s social platforms. The trailer introduces a darker, reflective tone, pairing the members’ visuals with thorn-filled imagery and a solitary thorn figure. It also incorporates narration from “Thorn Tree” by the Korean folk duo Poet and Village Chief, reinforcing the album’s emotional depth. The thorn symbolism carries into the concept images, signaling a period of honesty, vulnerability, and growth.
Consisting of SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI, TXT have become known for immersive storytelling and genre-spanning releases that explore youth and self-discovery. As they near their seventh anniversary, the new mini album is expected to reflect the pressures, doubts, and determination that have shaped their journey — building on the momentum of their previous album and world tour.
