Season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection is expanding its roster with a major addition: actor Dan Stevens has signed on as a series regular, stepping into the role of a dangerous new antagonist known as “The Five Borough Killer.”
Described as “a serial killer who, much like Zodiac, taunts the police with phone calls threatening the murder of innocent citizens. When he follows through with the awful deeds…the city and the police are terrorized,” the character is expected to bring a new level of tension to the series. A post on X reads: “A new killer emerges See you in #DexterResurrection Season 2, Dan Stevens ”
Stevens joins a growing cast that includes Brian Cox, who will portray another notorious figure dubbed “The New York Ripper,” and Uma Thurman, returning as Charley, a former special ops operative on the run. At the center of it all is Michael C. Hall, reprising his role as Dexter Morgan.
The show continues under the leadership of returning showrunner Clyde Phillips and picks up after the events of Dexter: New Blood, bringing Dexter back into action.
