Global girl group KATSEYE has released the music video for their new single “Animal” as the latest preview of its upcoming third EP, “WILD,” arriving Aug. 14. The track marks the group’s second pre-release offering from the project, following “Pinky Up,” which was released earlier this year.
The cinematic video features the six members — Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia and Yoonchae — taking on a dual concept, portraying performers on one side of a two-way mirror while also appearing as corporate figures on the other. Actress Demi Moore makes a special appearance in the visual, serving as a commanding presence during the storyline. The song was co-written by Ed Sheeran and produced by Omer Fedi and Blake Slatkin, combining pop production with themes of confidence, attraction and embracing a more fearless identity.
The new release continues a busy period for KATSEYE, which recently collaborated with K-pop groups LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT on “Iconic by Mistake.” The group, formed through the reality competition series “Dream Academy,” has continued expanding its global audience following the success of its previous EP, “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS.”
KATSEYE’s “WILD” EP is scheduled to arrive Aug. 14 and will follow the group’s growing international momentum as it prepares for additional projects, including the documentary “KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS.”
