The Jonas Brothers are taking their nostalgia trip on the road. Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas announced that their planned Burning Up Tour All Over Again has expanded into a 45-city North American tour, following an overwhelming response to the three Madison Square Garden shows that were held Aug. 20-22.
The newly expanded itinerary kicks-off on September 25th at Boston’s TD Garden, with additional dates in Toronto, Washington, D.C., Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver and more before concluding Dec. 21 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The group will bring a rotating lineup of special guests, including All Time Low, Magnus Ferrell, Franklin Jonas and Deleasa, depending on the date.
The Jonas Brothers said in a statement that “Our last tour reminded us just how much this music means to us and to the fans who’ve been with us from the start,” and added that the reaction to the Madison Square Garden announcement convinced them to take the celebration beyond New York. The tour revisits the era of the original Burning Up Tour, which ran from 2008 into 2009 while supporting the band’s A Little Bit Longer album and featured songs including “Burnin’ Up,” “Lovebug” and “Tonight.”
The concerts arrive shortly after the Jonas Brothers reunited with their Camp Rock characters for Disney’s Camp Rock 3, which premiered in August. The trio has also just completed its JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, making the new run another celebration of the band’s nearly two-decade career.
