Mattel has added another music icon to its Barbie Signature collection, unveiling a new collectible doll inspired by Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus. The release celebrates Cyrus’ influence as a performer, actress and advocate for self-expression, arriving just weeks after she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The doll is modeled after her look from the “Golden Burning Sun” music video, part of her Something Beautiful era, featuring a black faux-leather ensemble, oversized hooded jacket, heels and a microphone accessory.

Designed by Mattel’s Javi Meabe, the Barbie Signature figure is sculpted in Cyrus’ likeness and includes a doll stand and certificate of authenticity. The collectible is part of the premium Barbie Signature line and debuted through Mattel Creations before expanding to additional retailers. Mattel said the doll recognizes Cyrus’ lasting cultural impact and her evolution from child star to internationally acclaimed recording artist whose music has crossed multiple genres.

Cyrus shared her excitement over the collaboration in social media posts and promotional videos, describing the collectible as “a true full circle moment” and saying, “Barbie represents a personal dream of mine.” She praised the attention to detail, particularly the stage-ready styling and microphone, adding that the doll reflects the role music has played throughout her life. The singer also expressed hope that the release encourages fans to embrace individuality and pursue their own ambitions.

The Miley Cyrus release joins a growing roster of Barbie Signature dolls honoring influential figures from music and pop culture, including Stevie Nicks, Mariah Carey, Kylie Minogue and Tina Turner. Priced at about $60 in the United States, the collectible is aimed at both Barbie enthusiasts and Cyrus fans, further expanding Mattel’s lineup of celebrity-inspired dolls that celebrate influential artists and their contributions to entertainment.
