Frequent collaborators Bebe Rexha and David Guetta reunite for their latest joint track, a high-energy dance-pop composition titled “Sad Girls.”

The track marks the sixth professional studio pairing between the two musicians over the last decade. Their previous joint works include major commercial hits such as “Hey Mama,” “Say My Name,” “One in a Million,” and their global chart-topping 2022 single “I’m Good (Blue).”

‘Sad Girls’ appears on Rexha’s recent studio project Dirty Blonde, which represented a major career shift for the pop singer-songwriter, serving as her inaugural studio album distributed entirely as an independent artist through Empire. Driven by Guetta’s distinctive progressive house arrangement, the song incorporates uptempo club elements paired with melancholic lyrical themes.

In an official statement accompanying the release, Rexha detailed the intended emotional impact of the upbeat tracking. “Sad Girls is for anyone who has ever been on a dance floor with a broken heart and refused to let it win,” Rexha remarked. “You’re not okay, but you’re still dancing and showing up for yourself. That’s one of the most powerful things you can do in those moments.”
