“Yellowjackets” will return for its fourth and final season on Nov. 20, Paramount+ and Showtime announced, giving fans a premiere date for the last chapter of the acclaimed survival thriller. The announcement was accompanied by a new teaser that uses ominous emergency broadcasts and pleas for help to hint at what awaits the survivors.

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, “Yellowjackets” follows a New Jersey high school girls soccer team whose plane crashes in the Canadian wilderness. The series moves between the teenagers’ increasingly brutal struggle to survive in the 1990s and the adult lives of those who eventually made it home. Season 3 aired from February through April 2025 and ended with major revelations, including Mari’s identity as the long-mysterious Pit Girl and Shauna assuming the Antler Queen role.

The fourth season was originally expected to be part of a longer run, but the creators announced in October 2025 that the series would end with Season 4. Lyle and Nickerson said the story had reached the point where it was ready for a conclusion, describing the final installment as a “twisted conclusion.” Production began in 2026, with the creators continuing as showrunners and executive producers.

The returning cast includes Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson and Warren Kole, with Hilary Swank also among the cast.

All three previous seasons are available on Paramount+.
