The documentary film “KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS” will make its streaming debut on Disney+ and Hulu in the United States on Oct. 16, with international viewers able to watch it on Disney+ beginning the same day. The announcement comes after the film’s limited theatrical release earlier this year.

Directed by Nadia Hallgren, “KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS” follows the global girl group through its rise from the demanding “Dream Academy” competition and training process to international pop success. The film combines previously unseen behind-the-scenes material with interviews featuring the members and videos submitted by the group’s fans, known as EYEKONS, while examining the connection between KATSEYE and its worldwide audience.

The documentary also debuts during a significant stretch for KATSEYE. The group released its third EP, “WILD,” in August, and the project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 170,000 equivalent album units in the United States, giving the group its first chart-topper.

“Wild Hearts” was produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures in partnership with HYBE x Geffen. Its streaming release also follows the launch of KATSEYE’s “THE WILDWORLD TOUR,” which began in Europe earlier this month before moving to North America.
