Owen Wilson is back on the golf course in the new Season 2 trailer for Apple TV’s “Stick,” which finds his character, former professional golfer Pryce Cahill, attempting an unexpected return to competitive golf.

The trailer picks up with Pryce continuing to mentor 17-year-old golf prodigy Santi Wheeler, played by Peter Dager, as Santi moves closer to pursuing a professional career. At the same time, Pryce is encouraged by his former rival, Clark Ross (Timothy Olyphant), to take another shot at the game himself. His ambitious goal is to become the oldest golfer to win a major championship. Apple describes the series as a sports comedy “centered on second chances, mentorship and the unconventional family that forms around Pryce and Santi.”

Rhea Seehorn joins the series as Amanda, a new golf coach brought in to help Pryce rebuild his game, while Marc Maron returns as Pryce’s trusted caddie, Mitts. The trailer shows Pryce facing the physical and emotional challenges of returning to competition while confronting the career that ended prematurely decades earlier.

Created and showrun by Jason Keller, “Stick” also stars Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay and Judy Greer, with John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander and Missi Pyle joining the Season 2 cast.

The 10-episode Season 2 of ‘Stick’ premieres Nov. 4 with two episodes, followed by weekly releases through Dec. 30. See the trailer: HERE.
