The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame introduced a new installment centered on Taylor Swift, expanding its collection of memorabilia from the pop star. The showcase at the Cleveland museum offers visitors an up-close look at items from one of the singer-songwriter’s prominent recent projects.
Located on the fifth floor of the facility, the artifact collection is integrated into the ongoing “Legends of Rock” exhibit. The curation centers on the music vide for “The Fate of Ophelia,” a production written and directed by Swift that has accumulated hundreds of millions of views. The display features the swimming costume and long beaded gown Swift donned throughout the video, alongside wardrobe pieces worn by her backing dancers and various on-set props.
The museum also indicated plans to organize an upcoming Taylor Swift Fan Day, with details to be shared across its official social media channels. The institution previously hosted similar fan-centric events in 2024 to celebrate her 11th studio album release and her 35th birthday. The new showcase joins a history of Swift items featured at the venue, which has previously displayed her “Cardigan” music video sweater, a prop piano, and the attire she wore during her appearance at the 2021 induction ceremony.
Swift has an established relationship with the Ohio landmark, notably delivering the induction speech and performing “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?” for honoree Carole King at the 2021 event. While her work is featured in the museum galleries, the artist is not yet eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame. Under institution regulations, performers can only be nominated 25 years after their initial commercial music release. Because Swift debuted with the single “Tim McGraw” in June 2006, she will reach her first year of eligibility for the honor in 2031.
