Multi-platinum artists Alan Walker and Ava Max have reunited for their latest collaboration, “FATE,” marking their first release together since the global success of “Alone, Pt. II.” The new single blends Walker’s signature electronic production with orchestral arrangements, choir-backed vocals and Max’s powerful performance, creating a cinematic dance-pop track that expands on the duo’s previous musical partnership.

Built around themes of destiny and free will, “FATE” explores questions about whether life is shaped by personal choices or predetermined forces. The song incorporates elements inspired by Carl Orff’s iconic “O Fortuna,” adding dramatic intensity to its orchestral sound while complementing Walker’s evolving production style. Ava Max said, “I had such an incredible time writing from a place of realness and what I feel in this exact moment. It’s a lot more emotional to me when it’s about destiny.”

The release is accompanied by an official lyric video that continues the futuristic visual identity of Walker’s expanding “Walkerverse,” featuring dystopian imagery and technology-driven storytelling. The ambitious production also includes performances by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and London Philharmonic Choir, underscoring the project’s cinematic scope.

“FATE” arrives during an active period for both artists. Walker continues building toward the next phase of his broader creative universe following recent releases tied to his latest musical projects, while Max recently appeared on the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 album with the single “Energy.”
