Rosalía will receive the Billboard Hall of Fame Award at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, honoring a career marked by musical experimentation, international influence and an ability to move across genres and languages. The Spanish singer will attend the Oct. 22 ceremony at Miami’s James L. Knight Center to accept the honor in person, with the show airing live at 8 p.m. ET on Telemundo and Peacock. Blue-carpet coverage begins at 7 p.m.
The Billboard Hall of Fame Award is reserved for artists whose impact extends beyond musical performance and commercial success, including worldwide influence across multiple creative fields. Rosalía’s international breakthrough came with her 2018 album “El Mal Querer,” which brought her modern interpretation of flamenco to a global audience. She expanded that approach with 2022’s “Motomami,” which further established her crossover presence and supported a successful worldwide tour.
Additionally, Rosalía will also enter this year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards as a finalist in six categories, which recognizes achievements across Latin music based on Billboard chart performance. Her latest album, “LUX,” released in 2025, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, giving Rosalía her highest position on the all-genre chart, while also opening at No. 1 on five Billboard charts: Top Latin Albums, Top Latin Pop Albums, Classical Albums, Classical Crossover Albums and World Albums. Additionally, Rosalía recently completed the “LUX” Tour after 57 sold-out dates.
This year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony will conclude Billboard Latin Music Week, scheduled for Oct. 19-22 in Miami, while Rubén Blades is also set to receive a major career honor, the Billboard Icon Award.
